More About Camp

Registration is between 12:30 P.M. and 1 P.M. and campers should report to the Gym by 1:30 P.M., ready to play. We will have our welcome, our orientation and expectations as well as our staff introductions. This year you will be a part of our 60th year opening day celebration. Camp Store
Evaluations
Note to Parents
We will have the camp store in operation featuring some great new designs on our shorts, t-shirts, and sweatshirts! There will be an opportunity to buy refreshments and cold drinks for the necessary evening snacks (we can't get along without a little junk food for energy!) We strongly suggest all campers leave their money in our camp bank as it is safer and easier for you when buying snacks and other things during the day.
Every player will have an oral review with his coach and will also receive a written evaluation in the mail some time in September. From these evaluation forms, players receive valuable insight as to their strengths and weaknesses.
Please note that parents are encouraged to attend our opening introductions on Sunday, and our championship games on Friday. The school is closed to visitors during the week so there will be no distractions for our campers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
We End the Week With a Bang
On Friday, after our Championship and Challenge rounds, we present our Team and Individual awards. We recognize and honor our scholar athletes and give special recognition to those who have done something special, either camper or staff. All players are expected to attend and parents are encouraged to attend. We would plan on ending our awards so that we can dismiss all campers by 1:30PM.
What to Bring
Students should bring basketball shoes(broken-in to avoid blisters!), enough of their normal playing attire for 6 days, some casual clothes for relaxing in the dorm and some spending money for snacks and treats.
Please note: Personal music devices and cell phones may not be used in the gym or the dining room! (However, they are fine for the dorms in the evenings.)
